WordWorld — Where Words Come Alive
In WordWorld, words come alive, words save the day, and words become a child’s best friend. Since its launch on PBS KIDS in July 2007, WordWorld has earned accolades from both critics and consumers. The series was awarded three Emmy Awards (including Outstanding Children’s Animated Program in the 2008-09 season), and has received glowing reviews by critics including an “A-“ by Entertainment Weekly, which credited it with demonstrating that “television can still be a valuable learning tool.”
